Berg & Berg is not a mass manufacturer.  They are a small operation that produces beautiful wooden floors of the highest quality with great care.  Accordingly, people (and fewer machines) take care of their customers' floors throughout every stage of production.  The Berg & Berg team knows full well that the majority of their buyers make a decision of a lifetime when choosing a new wood floor.  Their employees in Kallinge take that knowledge to heart. 

As a matter of conviction, Berg & Berg produce natural wooden floors in a three-layer construction exclusively, and never laminate (plastic) or veneer.  After all, only real wood has so many advantages: It is warm, breathable, anti-static and extremely durable when it is processed properly according to the rules of the craft – which is what they do in Kallinge.
