ENGINEERED WOOD FLOORING DESIGNS FROM BERG & BERG

Designs vary depending on the width and length of the individual pieces of wood forming the surface layer of each plank.

The designs available will vary depending upon the species of wood.

Shown below are four designs:  3-Strip, 2-Strip, 2-Strip Inlaid and Plank.

All of the designs shown below are in the European Oak range and in the Spades grade. Grading is explained in the article 'Wood Grading System'.

3-STRIP

The planks are made up of three individual strips which are 66 mm wide and from 250 to 500mm long, making a total board width of 198mm.  The planks are 2390mm long.

2-STRIP

The planks have wider and longer strips.  The planks are made up of two individual strips which are 99mm wide and from 400 to 1200mm long, making a total board width of 198mm.  The planks are 2390mm long.

2-STRIP INLAID

The planks have wider and longer strips.  The planks are made up of two individual strips from 400 to 1200mm long with an inlay of either maple or rosewood.  The board width is 198mm.  The planks are 2390mm long.

PLANK

The planks have a large, continuous surface layer with micro bevels along the length.  Each full plank is 195mm wide and 2390mm long.
