Solid wood plank flooring
1. Our most popular
product is European Oak, which is imported and re-graded to produce 3
grades. These are Prime, Natural and Character. Other types of solid wood
flooring include White Ash, Cherry, Maple, Red Elm, Jatoba, Merbau, Black
Walnut as well as exotic species; which include Wenge, Zebrano, Padauk
and Bubinga.
- Small occasional pin knots. Straight grain, uniform-looking. European Oak may include 10% quarter sawn. Limited sap on face.
Natural:
- Knots up to 30mm diameter. European Oak will include some pippy and cats paw knot clusters. Limited sap on face.
Character:
- Knots up to 50mm in diameter. Colour variations, hairline splits, rustic appearance, sap wood.
3. Bespoke door thresholds, fireplace surrounds and steps can be made on site to maintain the character of your property and compliment the natural beauty of your wooden floor.
